Maison Champ Baratté
Hidden away in a corner of the ancient priory, attached to the Cathedral, you will find Maison Champ Baratté. This little gem, the former dwelling place and residence of the Benedictine monks dates back to the 11th century.
With a view onto the old city walls that seems almost untouched by the twenty-first century. This house has been authentically restored without losing the patina and memory of each stone that was originally laid. Some doorways and arches have been filled in over the ages and an old oak shutter was even turned into part of a ceiling.
This maison is currently being renovated, shares will be available for ownership in the near future.
It will be furnished with original vintage pieces reflecting the charm of days gone by. Four bedrooms with queen size beds and three bathrooms with tub or showers are planned; as is a full gourmet kitchen. It will open out onto the patio and garden for alfresco dining and barbecues. The great-room living/ dining area will have comfortable seating and a country size table to accommodate a large group.
